What Does Edie Support Look Like?

The great thing about humans is that we’re all different, which means you never know what will get you stuck. Below are some real life examples I’ve been able to provide for others:

Personal

  • Pulling a list of nearby phone repair shops
  • Filling out a contact form on a website to start communication
  • Researching a product and creating a shortlist of well-rated options to choose from
  • Providing a high-level summary of what it’s like to find a therapist
  • Calling a business or medical office to gather basic information

Business

  • Sifting through LinkedIn messages and putting relevant details into an easy-to-digest spreadsheet
  • Double-checking a calendar to ensure critical appointments were added/accurate
  • Researching non-profit startup tasks
  • Creating a template or formatting an existing document

Accountability

I can meet with you on a semi-regular basis to review your to-do list items. If having an accountability buddy isn’t enough to get something done, we can then discuss what executive function you’re getting stuck on so I can do it for you (the phone repair example above came out of this process).

Body Doubling

This service involves me simply keeping you company over a virtual medium while you get a task done. I can talk to you or sit in companionable silence – whatever will help your brain.

Edie’s Boundaries

I will only provide support virtually or in a public place. If we build a comfortable rapport over multiple interactions, we may discuss visits in the home.

I will not perform these services for:

  • Managing interpersonal relationships
  • Researching medical issues or navigating insurance (though I can connect you with someone who can!)
